Rancho Cucamonga Quakes of the California League
November 2, 2009
EVANSTON, IL - Professional Sports Catering, LLC, along with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes (California League, Class A Affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim) announced today that Professional Sports Catering, LLC, will manage the food and beverage operation at the Epicenter, home of the Quakes, in Rancho Cucamonga, California.
Under the new ownership of the Brett Sports and Entertainment group, the Quakes are looking to take the overall fan experience to the next level and turned to PSC for their expertise in Minor League Baseball food service.
"Food plays a vital role in the overall experience a fan has while attending a Minor League Baseball game. We believe that great food not only can bring people to the ballpark, but more importantly, keep them coming back," said Tom Dickson, Managing Partner of PSC. "We are pleased to partner with the Quakes and work with them to deliver a top notch product to their fans."
PSC will manage all aspects of the food operation, including catering and staffing for Quakes games as well as non game day events and private parties. They will work hand in hand with Quakes management to develop and serve an array of both local and traditional food options.
"We're excited to welcome PSC to the Quakes family," said Brent Miles, Quakes President. "We feel that not only are they the best at what they do, but they are the only concessionaire that can truly cater to the food service needs of Minor League Baseball teams. We are confident Quakes fans will be ecstatic about the changes they will see - and taste - next year at the Epicenter."
Prior to now, PSC has focused its operations in the Midwest and Southeast. The expansion west begins in 2010 with the addition of Rancho Cucamonga and ONEOK Field, home of the Tulsa Drillers in Tulsa, OK.
Professional Sports Catering, LLC, a full service food and beverage company, was launched in 2005 by Dickson and his partner, Sherrie Myers. Dickson and Myers, the highly successful owners of minor league baseball teams including the Lansing Lugnuts and Montgomery Biscuits, started PSC to serve the needs of minor league baseball teams across the country. The PSC business model focuses on high quality, fresh, cooked-before-your-eyes food, and an almost obsessive level of customer service and partnership with its clients. With the addition of the Quakes, PSC now manages the food and beverage operations for eight minor league baseball teams, and is poised for significant future growth.
